Tunnel Bindermichl and overhead noise barrier Niedernhart
This interesting transport project includes the lowering and enclosure of the A7 Mühlkreisautobahn in the Bindermichl and Niedernhart section in the centre of the Upper Austrian provincial capital Linz. The tunnel section Bindermichl has several access and exit ramps providing a direct connection to the city road network above it. The whole project has been equipped with state-of-the-art and high-quality safety technology. After a construction period of about two and a half years the project was completed by mid-2006.
Central surveillance in Wels
The tunnel surveillance is carried out from the control room in Wels. All information is transferred and made available to the operators in a clear manner via large-screen projectors and video monitors.
